An earthquake of magnitude 6.3 struck the southern Mexican state of Guerrero on Friday, the German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ) said. The quake was at a depth of 10 km (6.21 miles), GFZ said. However, there was no damage in Guerrero reported immediately, Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum said on X, after speaking with the state’s governor. She stated that no damage had been reported in the capital, Mexico City.

The Central government has approved an 11.56 Km extension from Noida Sector 142 to Botanical Garden, which is a major boost for transportation in the National Capital region (NCR). The 11.6 Km extension will include eight elevated stations from Noida Sector 142 to the Botanical Garden of Noida Metro Rail Project.
