Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday spoke to Venezuela’s Acting President Delcy Rodriguez and discussed bilateral ties between New Delhi and Caracas following the change in leadership of the Latin American country following the US operation to capture Nicolas Maduro and his wife earlier this month.
In a shocking incident, 34 people, including 22 children were on Wednesday killed in Thailand’s deadliest mass shooting. Several people have been taken hostages, local media reported. In Peeragarhi car death case, Delhi Police on Wednesday got five-day police custody of Kamaruddin Baba. Earlier in the day, Delhi Police arrested the self-styled ‘baba’ in connection with the deaths of three people whose bodies were found inside a locked car near the Peeragarhi flyover. The accused, identified as Kamaruddin, described by police as a ‘maulana’ and an occult practitioner, has been booked for murder, an official told PTI.
