India is preparing to strengthen its air defence network with the proposed purchase of five additional squadrons of the Russian-made S-400 missile system. The move comes after the system’s impressive performance during Operation Sindoor, where it played a key role in countering Pakistani aerial threats.
In the aftermath of the Malviya Nagar fire that killed 21 people, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi took major decision and demolished 12 properties and sealed 79 properties across the city today. Of these, 21 properties were demolished and sealed in South Delhi. Under the directives of Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu and Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) is continuing strict action against violations of building bylaws across the city.

While police are still searching for Khan Sir after the firing case, another revelation has emerged about his coaching institute. His coaching institute has failed to comply with fire safety standards. Manoj Kumar Nat, DIG of the Bihar Fire Services, revealed that several deficiencies were found at ‘Khan Global Studies’ and if the safety standards are not met within 15 days, the coaching institute could face closure.
