Nashik TCS row: Court refuses interim bail to accused Nida Khan, next hearing on April 27

In the ongoing Nashik TCS case, the court has turned down a request for interim protection for accused Nida Khan till April 27. As per the information, her legal team had urged the court to grant temporary relief while her anticipatory bail plea remains pending, but the court chose not to issue any interim order at this stage. During the proceedings, the complainant’s lawyer submitted an application seeking additional time to file a written reply. The request was accepted and the court granted time until April 27 for the response to be submitted.

    Mumbai Airport Mosque case: Kirit Somaiya, BJP workers taken into custody amid protests

    BJP leader and former MP Kirit Somaiya staged a protest on Saturday regarding a mosque located near Terminal 2 (T2) of the Mumbai International Airport. Some BJP workers arrived at the protest site carrying hammers. The police took Kirit Somaiya and the BJP workers into custody. Kirit Somaiya claimed that the mosque is illegal and that the truth is being misrepresented in this matter. He stated that no one has approached the court, and all relevant authorities—including the MMRDA—have declared the structure illegal. Somaiya asserted that action will be taken against the mosque and that it will be demolished.
