The All India Muslim Jamaat national president Maulana Mufti Shahabuddin Razvi has appealed to Muslims to stop abusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and instead develop a positive outlook. He also said that defeating the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is not the sole responsibility of Muslims. In a statement issued to the media, Razvi said Muslims should move away from the politics of opposition and focus on their own development and future.
At a time when the prices of sugar and onion are skyrocketing in the country, Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Tuesday said the Delhi government has just held a meeting regarding onions and sugar. He added that “We have decided to procure onions from NAFED and sell them; we will sell them at the same rate at which we acquire them from NAFED.”
