The Election Commission of India (EC) has declared as fake the EPIC (Electoral Photo Identity Card) number displayed by Tejashwi Yadav during a press conference. The card number shown, RAB2916120, was found to be unauthorised and does not match any record in the EC’s database. This has raised serious concerns about the authenticity of the document presented by the Bihar Leader of Opposition.
A devotee reportedly died of suspected suffocation, and several others were feared injured during the world-famous Rath Yatra in Odisha’s Puri on Thursday, as massive crowds gathered to witness the annual chariot procession of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra.

The scope of quick commerce is no longer limited to just groceries and daily essentials, as Swiggy Instamart has partnered with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) to launch on-demand LPG cylinder delivery for customers. This service has been introduced in Bengaluru as a pilot project and will be expanded to other cities across the country depending on the response it receives. This service is considered particularly useful for those who need smaller cylinders urgently or do not have a regular domestic gas connection. This marks the first time in India that LPG cylinders are being delivered through a quick-commerce platform.
