‘His mind was stolen’: Devendra Fadnavis rips into Rahul Gandhi over ‘vote chori’ allegations

Taking at swipe at Congress MP Rahul Gandhi for repeatedly raising questions over the functioning of the Election Commission of India (ECI) in the aftermath of a report claiming ‘dissent’ between poll body members over SIR, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said on Sunday that the Leader of Opposition (LoP) in Lok Sabha wants to create a situation of “anarchy and chaos” in India and is trying to weaken the people’s trust in constitutional bodies.

    Rejinagar Bypoll Result 2026: BJP’s Shankharavh Sarkar wins Muslim-majority seat by over 75,000 votes

    The Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Shankharavh Sarkar on Friday (October 9) won the Rejinagar Assembly bypoll in West Bengal, defeating Aam Janata Unnayan Party (AJUP) candidate Golam Nabi Azad alias Robin by 75,816 votes. Sarkar secured 1,29,914 votes, accounting for 63.14 per cent of the votes polled, while Azad received 54,098 votes (26.29 per cent).
