In the Delhi electoral roll matter, the Supreme Court on Wednesday questioned why voters already included in the 2026 electoral roll are being required to fill out Form 6—a form intended exclusively for first-time voters. The Supreme Court has directed the Commission to file a response within two weeks. Approximately 4.3 million (43 lakh) names have been removed from the draft electoral roll, either because they were missing or because the individuals were relocated elsewhere.

The marquee event will be held in Kochi on October 28th, and all the five franchises will look to put their best foot forward in hopes of getting their hands on some of the best players in world cricket in hopes of filling the gaps in their squads ahead of the WPL 2027 season.
