A major glacial lake outburst flood (GLOF) in Bhutan’s high-altitude Himalayan region has triggered flood warning in several districts of Assam, West Bengal. The outburst was reported from the Sintaphu Lake on Thursday night, prompting a flood alert in the low-lying districts of North Bengal and Assam.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s party has alleged that Arab-led parties had “stolen” the election, potentially with foreign assistance, as final results showed his bloc had lost its majority in parliament. As per the poll results released on Thursday, Netanyahu’s bloc has won 53 seats, while the main opposition won 48 seats and Arab-led parties secured the other 19.
