The Jawaharlal Nehru University students’ union (JNUSU) elections polling was concluded, the counting of votes will begin at 9 pm and the result will be announced on Thursday, November 6. The JNSUS election was held in two phases- first and second phase.
Two Pakistani nationals, who had escaped from a juvenile observation home in Jammu, have been arrested in Punjab’s Ludhiana within 24 hours of the incident, officials said on Tuesday. The arrests were carried out by the Jammu and Kashmir Police, while the third escapee, a local gangster, remains absconding.

Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav was released from Tihar Jail after being granted interim bail by the High Court in a cheque bounce case. The actor came out after completing the formalities of his release and gave a brief statement to the media, thanking the court for the relief granted to him.
