1 US pilot rescued, search on for other after American fighter jet shot down in Iran
A pilot of the US military has been rescued by the American forces after an aircraft was shot down over Iran’s airspace, said officials on Friday, while adding that a search operation is still underway to save the other pilot. This is the first time the US military has lost an aircraft over the Iranian territory since the beginning of the conflict in the Middle East in February.
