Over 8.78 lakh candidates have applied for UGC National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December exam 2026. As per NTA, over 8.78 lakh registrations and 6.92 lakh candidates have already completed fee payment. The last date to apply for UGC NET is October 31, 2026 on the official website – ugcnet.nta.ac.in. UGC NET December exam 2026 is scheduled to be held from December 14 to December 19 in computer-based test (CBT) mode.
