Police complaint flied against Nishu Azad in Delhi for insulting Hindu deities

Supreme Court lawyer Amita Sachdeva has lodged a complaint with the Delhi Police against Nishu Azad for insulting Hindu deities. The complainant claims she had previously given an opportunity to remove the objectionable posts concerning Lord Shiva, Lord Krishna, Goddess Saraswati, and Durga.

    The Punjab Police has arrested prime accused in Punjab anti-drug activist Parvinder Singh Jhota’s murder from Salasar, Rajasthan. Jhota was earlier shot on Tuesday, October 13 during a confrontation at a medical store in Mansa, Punjab, while livestreaming what he alleged was the sale of ‘chitta’, or heroin. He later succumbed to his injuries at Mansa Civil Hospital. The incident has triggered a political storm, with opposition leaders accusing the Bhagwant Mann-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government of failing to tackle the drug menace and maintain law and order.

    Two inter-state drug peddlers have been arrested with 317 kg of ganja, valued at an estimated Rs 3.17 crore in Bengaluru. The Bengaluru Police has arrested two arrested drug peddlers who are from Kerala and a case was registered under NDPS act.
