Senior IPS officer Mahesh Dixit has been appointed as the new Director of the Intelligence Bureau (IB), news agency PTI sources said Thursday. As per the sources, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, cleared his appointment.
