A fresh arrest was on Tuesday made in the Tiger Shroff firing case, with Haryana’s Sonipat police arresting a man identified as Sameer, who allegedly facilitated contact between the shooters and Anil Pandit. Notably, Pandit, who reportedly claimed responsibility for the attack, is suspected of operating from the US and has alleged links to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
Amid violent protests in France, US President Donald Trump on Monday (local time) issued a stark warning regarding the future of Europe, saying that France and the broader continent face total collapse unless they immediately seal their borders and deport migrants who “hate their countries. “And, as you know, Paris is going to be a Muslim city very soon. In a significant development, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will begin his three-day visit to India on Tuesday to advance bilateral ties in energy, trade and investment, defence, critical technologies, and exchange views on the West Asia crisis. This would be Rubio’s second India visit this year which comes amid persistent friction in bilateral ties. During his earlier trip in May, he held talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar besides attending a Quad foreign ministers’ meeting.
