Pakistan have been knocked out of the T20 World Cup 2026. They failed to restrict Sri Lanka to 147 runs or fewer while defending the total of 212 runs. Pakistan needed to win by 65 runs or more to surpass New Zealand in terms of net run-rate, but they couldn’t. New Zealand have now qualified for the semifinal of the T20 World Cup and will meet South Africa on March 4 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

PV Sindhu, on her way to All England Open, stranded at Dubai airport amid tensions in Gulf

Star Indian shuttler PV Sindhu is stuck at Dubai airport after operations were suspended following missile strikes by Israel and the US on Iran. Major Indian carriers IndiGo and Air India suspended flights to West Asia amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran.  Air India Express has also suspended all westbound international flights due to the developing situation in parts of the Gulf region, a company spokesperson said.
