Bihar Elections 2025: Tej Pratap Yadav to contest from Mahau, JJD releases first list of 21 candidates

In a major political development ahead of the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025, Tej Pratap Yadav’s party, Janshakti Janta Dal (JJD), has announced its first list of 21 candidates. The party made the declaration official on Monday. According to the official announcement, Tej Pratap Yadav will contest from his traditional stronghold Mahua Assembly seat. The party said it aims to field “energetic and clean-image candidates” who can connect with the youth and grassroots voters.
