India closes visa application centre in Dhaka after threats from radical elements in Bangladesh
India on Wednesday closed its Visa Application Centre (IVAC) in Bangladesh’s capital Dhaka in view of the current security situations. The government has informed Parliament that security forces have apprehended a total of 23,926 infiltrators along the borders with Pakistan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Nepal, and Bhutan since 2014.
