Harbhajan Singh moves High Court after Punjab Police withdraws security, seeks immediate restoration
Rajya Sabha MP and former cricketer Harbhajan Singh has filed a petition in the Punjab and Haryana High Court challenging the removal of his security cover by the Punjab Police. In his plea, he questioned the state authorities on why his police protection was withdrawn and requested the court to order immediate reinstatement. According to PTI sources, his security was taken away last Saturday (April 25). It is noteworthy that Harbhajan, along with six other MPs including Raghav Chadha, had recently joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Cruise boat capsizes in Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur; four killed
At least four people have died, and several others are feared missing after a cruise boat carrying over 30 tourists capsized in the Bargi Dam near Khamariya Island in Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur on Thursday evening.
